Location - near Princeton, BC

 

Land - Private land on a farm at Coalmont, BC (near Princeton). We respectfully acknowledge that Princeton is on the unceded traditional territories of the Nlaka'pamux and Okanagan peoples.

Upon Arrival

When you arrive please stop at the gate to check in. Our gate volunteers will check your ticket, ID and hand you a wrist band. If you have an RV/Trailer please remember to purchase a pass and register your license plate number.

Please make sure the ID matches the name on the ticket. 

Please wear your wristband during the whole entire festival.

Our security team will be checking your car for glass, weapons and any illegal items.

Our team of volunteers will provide an orientation on important information and answer any questions you may have. 

Required age

19+ is the Age of Majority in the province of British Columbia. Regardless of the laws in your home province, country or state, you are not considered an adult in BC until you are 19. No exceptions. ID’s will be checked.

about the venue

Please do not enter any private property or anywhere that is not part of the festival area. There are other people who work and lives on the property and they have been very kind to welcome us to be their neighbor this weekend.

Water

It is highly recommended not to drink the local water as there has been flood occurrence previously. We recommend bringing your own water (20L) per person.

LEAVE NO TRACE 

We take pride in our “Leave No Trace” policy, which is everything you bring in should be brought back out. 

We are working at our best to promote and educate sustainability and minimize waste 

  • Pack it in, pack it out. Inspect your campsite and rest areas for trash or spilled food. Pack out all trash, leftover food and litter. Always leave a place cleaner than you found it.

  • Never defecate on the land! There are portable bathrooms that will be serviced during the festival

  • Pack out toilet paper and hygiene products.

  • To wash yourself or your dishes, carry water 200 feet away from streams or lakes and use small amounts of biodegradable soap. Scatter strained dishwater.

  • Observe wildlife from a distance. Do not follow or approach them.

  • Never feed animals. Feeding wildlife damages their health, alters natural behaviors, and exposes them to predators and other dangers.

  • PLEASE SMOKE AT DESIGNATED AREA ONLY

  • Please do not throw any joints or cigarette buds onto the ground, they belong to the butt cans.

Gate

Friday 2:00pm to Saturday 12:00am

Saturday 8:00am to Sunday 12:00am

Parking and camping

We have a lot of shaded areas for camping. When you arrive, stop at the gate for orientation. Our gate volunteer will direct you to where the camping spots are and you can park where you camp. There will be designated RV areas as RVs are not allowed to be the camping area. 

Fire and Gas cooker

A limit of one propane canister per person is allowed and should be monitored.

There will be a community bonfire so NO any other fire at the camping area.

Internet and Phone Connection

There is NO internet service so proof of purchase MUST be downloaded and/or printed before arrival

Drinking Water

 Please ensure you bring your own water. An average festival goer drinks about 14L of waters in a weekend.

Items not allowed in the venue

  • Glass container or product;

  • No other sound systems or other noise pollutions  in the camping area, please do not disturb your neighbors; 

  • Air Horns;

  • Animals (especially no dogs, there are other farm dogs on the property that are super friendly to people but hostile and territorial to other dogs. This event is not held liable to any injuries to your pet);

  • Chains, Chain Wallets / Chain Belts;

  • Discriminating or appropriation items;

  • Divisive symbols or inappropriate imagery;

  • Aerosol Products Canister ;

  • Generators;

  • Flammables;

    • Except: lighters, matches, liquid or gas fuel of portable stove. A limit of one Propane canister per person is allowed and should be monitored.

  • Personal vehicles;

    • incl. Bicycles, Skates, Scooters, Skateboards, Hoverboards, Segways, Electric Scooters (Birds, Limes), etc.

  • Selfie Sticks, Tripods or Narcisticks;

  • Glitter;

  • Weapons Of Any Kind (Including off-duty law enforcement);

  • Any item deemed inappropriate by Security or Event Organizer

First Aid

There will be a medic tent and an emergency driver available at all times. Please ensure you know where it is located. If you don’t know where it is, please ask a crew member, security, or the front gate. The Princeton General Hospital is 30 min away by driving, so please notify the staff member right away in case of an emergency, 

What to bring with you?

Required items you need to bring

  • Bring cash currency to acquire items from the vendors;

  • Enough potable water for drinking, cooking, washing Dishes and Hygiene;

  • Enough food for the whole festival, a water bottle, pail to collect gray water;

  • Flashlight with spare batteries, Mosquito repellent, Sunscreen;

  • Personal first aid kit with all your medications and personal hygiene kit;

  • Waterproof Jacket or Poncho, Warm waterproof footwear, warm clothing;

  • Waterproof Tent, sleeping pad and sleeping bag or blanket;

  • Your own garbage and recycling bag;

  • Canopy for extra shading;

  • Earplugs for sleeping and at the dance floor.

Animals

Due to other very territorial farm dogs in the land, please leave your dog at home to be safe!

Personal Hygiene

There will be showers rigged on site.

Always remember to wash your hands with biodegradable soup.

Nearest river would be 5 to 10 min drive from location at Granite Creek.

Food Truck

There will a food truck available on site
